Undergarments, hair nets, hair kits, and more!
We do have skin-colored leotards for sale again this year for those of you who prefer to wear one under your costumes on Production Day. Stop by the studio to see what we have available, or reply to this email to order. If we do not have what you need in-stock, we still have time to place an order.
1) Nude Camisole – Toddler through XL Adult, $30+tax
Extra coverage/thickness. Seven strap positions.
**Only available in this “nude” color (light to medium skin toned).
2) Cotton Spandex Body Liner – SC through XXL adult, $27 + tax
These are a much thinner material than the nude camisole above. Adult sizes have shelf bra. Adjustable straps. **Comes in a variety of skin colors.
Q: What is the purpose of a body liner/camisole?
A: Many dancers find it makes them feel more comfortable in their costumes due to itchy material/sweating and find it easier for quick changes because costumes glide easily over them. Many dancers also prefer the modesty granted while changing in the shared dressing rooms.
Q: What size do I order?
A: We recommend the same size as your costumes. They are meant to fit snug and minimally so that they do not show underneath your costumes. They are not meant to be full coverage.
*We have (most) options available at both studio locations if you’d like to see them in person.
Q: Are these required?
A: Absolutely not. We recommend them if your dancer feels more comfortable changing costumes in their dressing rooms with an undergarment, or if your dancer is itchy under their costume(s). They are for anyone who wants/needs one. They are not required by any means.
3) Hair nets + hair accessories kits available for purchase
We highly recommend every dancer wears a hair net for Picture Day and Production Day to help secure their bun. We have blonde, light brown, dark brown and black available for purchase at both locations.
Single pack – $2
3 pack – $5
Hair Kit – $8
You are not required to purchase through us, but they are sometimes hard to find and usually come in giant packs.

Q: How do I use a hair net?
A: Watch here! This is a great video for our “standard” hair style. The hair net tutorial starts at 4:15
4) Hair Kits
We also have kits available for purchase which include (1) hair donut for your bun (small, medium or large depending on hair length/thickness), bobbie pins, one hair tie and 3 hair nets. Offered in blonde, brown or black.
**We have limited stock available, so stop by the studio starting June 1st, during regular business hours to purchase yours. Cash or card on file. If you pay cash, we cover your tax.
Q: How do I use a “hair donut?”
A: Watch here! Bun with donut. *Please note that our “standard Production Hair” is NOT this style – this is just an example of how to use the donut. We ask that your hair is a low bun at the nape of the neck. You are not required to use a hair donut! It’s especially helpful for shorter/thinner hair. We aren’t super particular on the style of bun, just as long as you have the middle part, the hair is secure and with minimal flyaways. See this video for a great example.
