From day one, our mission has been simple: to make dance accessible to every child, regardless of their financial circumstances.

We believe every dancer deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, creativity, and sense of belonging that dance provides. A dance studio is more than a place to learn steps—it’s a community where lifelong friendships are formed, resilience is built, and young people discover their potential. Every child deserves a safe space to move, create, express themselves, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Our commitment to accessibility is deeply personal. Katie was once a scholarship recipient herself, and Lisa helped pay for Katie’s dance education by working in the studio office. Those experiences shaped their belief that financial barriers should never prevent a child from pursuing a passion that can positively impact their life.

Today, Dance & Company proudly offers a confidential, need-based scholarship program for families experiencing financial hardship. Supported by Katie and Lisa, along with generous anonymous donors, the Scholarship Fund provides students with the opportunity to continue their dance education and fully participate in our studio community.

We are committed to creating opportunities for students who demonstrate both financial need and a genuine passion for dance, ensuring that every child has the chance to grow, belong, and thrive through the performing arts.
