This is a weekly, ongoing class and is not a session. You can attend via drop-in rate or monthly tuition with paid membership.

Are you an adult or do you have a teen that’s been wanting to learn ballet but don’t want to step into a class with young kids? This class is for you!

This class is designed especially for teens and adults who want to learn ballet basics without stepping into a class full of little kids. Whether you’re brand new to ballet or returning after time away, this 50-minute class will help you feel comfortable and confident. We’ll focus on posture, alignment, and foundational ballet steps through simple barre work and center exercises. No pressure, no perfection—just learning the basics and discovering how fun ballet can be. Along the way, you’ll build flexibility, strength, balance, and confidence.

You’ll leave feeling taller, more flexible, and aware of muscles you never knew you had!

When: Tuesdays, 6:00-6:50pm, a 50 minute class.

Ages 15+ – Dance & Company members and non-members welcome.

Attire: For adult classes, you are welcome to wear either:

  • Comfortable and appropriate activewear that allows you to move and stretch easily (for example: leggings, tanks, t-shirts), or
  • Traditional ballet attire: leotard with tights, and an optional skirt or dance shorts.
  • Shoes: ballet slippers or grippy socks

We highly encourage ballet slippers. If you don’t own a pair and prefer not to purchase them, socks or grippy socks are fine.

Please make sure your hair is pulled back and secured away from your face in a bun or ponytail.
